Dream Tape is committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your information is used. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can manage or delete your information.

When you use Dream Tape, we collect a few pieces of information to make the app work smoothly. This includes your email address and password for account access (secured through Supabase), and any additional details you choose to share such as your name, gender, and wake-up time. We also store your dream entries and the AI-generated visuals or videos based on those entries. Usage data, such as how you interact with the app and which features you use, is collected anonymously through Mixpanel to help us improve performance and understand what’s working well.

We use your information to deliver the core features of the app, like analyzing your dreams, generating interpretations and visuals, and helping you track your progress. Notifications are used to gently remind you to log your dreams based on your chosen wake-up time. Your data also helps us identify bugs and improve your experience overall.

Dream Tape relies on third-party services to operate. We use Supabase for authentication and secure data storage. OpenAI powers the AI-generated interpretations and visuals. Apple services handle notifications, in-app purchases, and Sign in with Apple. Mixpanel provides anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the product. None of your personal information is ever sold or shared with advertisers.

You have full control over your data. You can delete your account at any time within the app. If you’d like us to permanently remove all your data and associated files, just send a request to dreamtape@hybor.co and we’ll process it within seven days.

Dream Tape is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If we become aware of such data, it will be removed.

Your data is stored securely and handled with care. However, no platform is completely immune to risk, and by using Dream Tape you accept this.
